In short

— CHALLENGE

The challenge at FlexBedden.

Staffing agencies that place migrant workers run a second operation alongside the staffing itself: housing. Beds have to be assigned to the right worker, at the right location, for the right period, and that keeps shifting as contracts and projects change. FlexBedden handled this in separate spreadsheets per branch, which led to double bookings, empty beds and endless manual updating.

The brief was a platform that could serve several agencies side by side, each with its own properties and occupancy, without one agency's data leaking into another's. On top of that it had to be findable for agencies actively looking for such a solution.

— APPROACH

Our approach.

We built FlexBedden as a multi-tenant platform on Laravel with Filament for the admin panel and Next.js for the public side. Each staffing agency is its own tenant with strictly separated properties, rooms and occupancy. At the core sits a rostering model: beds, periods and residents in one schedule that blocks conflicts and double assignments.

For growth we deliberately chose an SEO-driven public layer in Next.js. The marketing pages and reference content are server-rendered and fast, so agencies searching for housing tooling find the platform organically rather than through expensive acquisition.

— OUTCOME

What it delivered.

Branches now work from a single occupancy overview instead of scattered spreadsheets. Assigning, moving and checking out happens on the planning board, and double bookings are blocked at entry. By the client's own account this saves the team around 15 hours per week of manual updating and correcting.

The SEO-driven public layer brings in a steady stream of new enquiries with no ad budget. The multi-tenant setup means extra agencies can be added without a separate installation, so the platform grows with the client instead of buckling under scale.
