A production website by NedDev from €2.500. Next.js 16, Tailwind v4, SEO and AEO optimized. First results in 4-6 weeks.
Website development at NedDev starts at around €2,500 for a sharp one-pager and runs up to €10,000 or more for a multilingual site with a CMS and integrations. We build on Next.js for speed and findability in Google and in AI overviews. The timeline is usually 3 to 6 weeks. You get a site that loads in under two seconds, works as well on mobile as on desktop, and that you can manage yourself. NedDev is a The Hague studio, KvK 65641922.
Website development means a studio builds you a fast, findable site that fits what you sell or tell. The difference with a template from a site builder is that everything is custom: the structure, the copy, the speed and the way Google and AI assistants read your pages. At NedDev no site is a copy of a previous one.
The price depends on the scope and the technology underneath. A simple presentation site costs less than a multilingual platform with a content system, forms, an integration with your accounting software or a search function. What it always includes: a design that fits your brand, copy that performs in Google and in AI overviews, and a foundation that lasts for years without a rebuild.
Our price ranges for website development:
Most sites are slow because they run on heavy builders or bloated WordPress installs. We build on Next.js, which serves pages as static files. The result is a load time under two seconds, even on a phone with a poor connection. Speed is not a luxury: Google weighs it in ranking and visitors drop off with every second of waiting.
We build findability in from the first line. Every page gets a deliberate title, a meta description, structured data and a layout that works for both classic search results and AI overviews in Google, ChatGPT and Perplexity. We call that SEO and AEO. For care provider Novara Zorg that produced a warm, readable site that young people and parents grasp right away. For MME Bouw we built a site with the presence of a Tier-1 contractor.
Do I still need SEO if AI is taking over search results? Yes, more than ever. AI assistants pull their answers from well-structured pages. Build a site now that is clear and factual in its setup, and you get cited in the AI summary instead of forgotten. We write with exactly that in mind.
The design comes from our own hand, not from a theme. For beauty studio Aaniytah we created a premium look across 57 pages, and for authority site ContraExperts a layout that radiates trust. What you get:
We work in short rounds with set moments where you follow along. You do not see your site only at the end, but a bit further along every week. That way you steer before something is finished, instead of having to fix it afterwards. Most objections about website builds are about surprises afterwards, and we prevent those by letting you look in early and often.
The step-by-step plan for website development with us:
Do I own my website and the copy? Yes, fully. After delivery everything is yours: the code, the design and the copy. You are not tied to us for management and you can have the site developed further by another party if you want. We do not deliver a closed system you cannot get out of.
What speed means for your position in Google is not our opinion. Google describes the so-called Core Web Vitals as a ranking factor in its official documentation, see developers.google.com. We hold to those standards: a fast first render, little shift in the layout and an immediate response to clicks. We arrange hosting on Cloudflare and Hetzner, with daily backups and a content system you work with without technical knowledge.
We build for companies that see their website as a sales channel, not as a digital business card looked at once a year. That ranges from a local service provider to an organization with hundreds of pages. The common thread is that the site has to deliver: enquiries, appointments, trust or visibility in a market where the competition is fighting online too.
A common mistake is choosing the cheapest option and then discovering the site is slow, not findable and not editable. A rebuild then costs more than doing it right the first time. We would rather advise you honestly up front about what fits your budget than have you start over later.
What a good website does for you:
Torn between a simple site now or a bigger platform later? Start small and good. A fast, findable five-page site that you expand later is always better than a big project that stalls. Take a look at our design approach to see how we combine form and function.
Our internal stack packages for multi-tenant SaaS. A Laravel + Filament starter, an audit-trail engine, and a tenant-impersonation package that runs across 12 clients.

14 EXPERIMENTS · LIVE DEMOSWebsite development with us starts at around €2,500 for a sharp one-pager or landing page. A company site of five to fifteen pages with a content system usually costs between €4,500 and €8,000. A multilingual or content-rich site with integrations to, for example, your accounting software or a search function runs up to €8,000 to €15,000 or more. The price mainly depends on the number of pages, the number of languages and the integrations you need. We would rather give an honest range after a short conversation than a number that looks too good up front, because the real price is in the details. Alongside the build you have ongoing costs for hosting and maintenance, and we make those clear up front too so you do not run into surprises.
The timeline for website development is usually 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the scope. A one-pager is sometimes live within two weeks, a multilingual site with many pages takes more time. We work in short rounds with weekly demos, so you see the site grow and can steer before it is finished. Most of the time does not go into the building itself but into sharpening the copy and the structure. Deliver the copy and images quickly and it goes faster. After launch we measure the speed and follow along the first few weeks, because that is the moment when it becomes clear whether everything also holds up in practice.
Yes, after delivery everything is yours: the source code, the design and the copy. We do not deliver a closed system that you then get stuck with. You can have the site managed by us, but you can just as easily have it developed further by another party or take it into your own management. That is a deliberate choice: we want to keep clients because they are happy, not because they cannot leave. We deliver the code cleanly documented, so a successor can carry on with it without first puzzling for months. That applies to every project, from a one-pager to a large platform.
Yes. For sites where you want to change text or images regularly, we build in a content system that lets you edit pages without technical knowledge. You log in, adjust the text and publish. For parts that sit deeper in the code, such as a new page structure or an integration, you can come to us, but the day-to-day maintenance you do yourself. For a simple one-pager that you rarely change, a content system can actually be unnecessary and we keep it simple. We discuss what fits up front, so you do not pay for functionality you never use.
We arrange the hosting on Cloudflare and Hetzner, with daily backups and monitoring. The cost for that is modest, usually between €15 and €50 a month for a regular site, depending on the traffic and the technology. For a fast Next.js site the hosting costs are low because the pages are served as static files and need little server power. If you prefer to arrange the hosting yourself or place it with your own provider, that is also possible: we deliver the site so it runs anywhere. What you pay for hosting and maintenance we make clear up front, so the monthly costs stay predictable.
