— CHALLENGE

The challenge at EUDI Explained.

The EU Digital Identity Wallet is dense regulation that citizens, developers and public bodies all read differently. No single, accessible reference existed to guide these audiences through the subject, across multiple languages, without legal jargon getting in the way.

NedDev was asked to build an information platform that explains the EUDI Wallet at a scale broad enough to cover the whole topic. That meant hundreds of interconnected pages that reinforce one another, stay discoverable in search engines and remain consistent across languages. The real challenge was not any single page, but keeping a large, multilingual content structure coherent and maintainable.

— APPROACH

Our approach.

We used a pillar-cluster model as the backbone. Broad pillar pages cover the main themes, with clusters of deeper articles around them that link back and forth. This builds a logical, searchable hierarchy instead of a flat pile of pages.

Technically we built on the NedDev stack with Next.js for the frontend, so statically generated pages load fast and perform well in search. Multilingual support was designed in from the start: every page carries its language variants with correct hreflang references. A structured content model kept all 606 pages maintainable and let new topics slot into the right cluster without clutter.

— OUTCOME

What it delivered.

The result is a platform of 606 pages, built multilingually around the pillar-cluster model. It explains the EU Digital Identity Wallet step by step, with an internal linking structure that moves visitors from general overviews to detailed deep-dive pages.

Because the content is organised around clear pillars with supporting clusters, the platform is well discoverable and stays manageable as it grows. Citizens, developers and policymakers find explanations at their own level, in their own language. A scalable content foundation that can expand alongside the wider rollout of the EUDI Wallet.
