— CHALLENGE

The challenge at MemurMaaslari.

Every year Turkish civil servants have to work out what their pay becomes after the twice-yearly salary round. The calculation is full of coefficients, allowances and tax exemptions that vary by profession and grade. Existing sources were scattered, often outdated and rarely broken down per job.

The brief: build one trustworthy calculator that works out the net monthly salary for every role and grade, and make sure people actually find it. There was no advertising budget, so all discoverability had to come from the content and the structure itself.

— APPROACH

Our approach.

We built a calculation engine in TypeScript that applies the official 2026 H1 coefficients, including the tax-exempt items such as ek ödeme and yan ödeme. The results are tested with Jest against figures published by the Anadolu Ajansı news agency, landing within a few lira.

On top of that core we programmatically generated 146 pages: 110 professions, 18 rehber guide articles and the fixed pages. Each page carries its own metadata, sitemap entry and structured content. The stack is Next.js 16 with Tailwind v4, running on PM2 behind nginx.

— OUTCOME

What it delivered.

The site draws more than 50,000 visitors a month, entirely from organic traffic. Not a cent went to advertising: all reach comes from the 146 programmatically built SEO pages and the dependable calculations.

Because the figures line up with the official sources, people use the calculator as a reference point at every salary round. The verified formula and the per-profession layout turn the site into a standing reference for Turkish civil servants who want to know quickly where they stand.
